The average person spends 17 seconds looking at a work of art in a museum. It usually takes much

less time than that to identify an image. But understanding it? That requires slowing down and taking

the time to see the details. This kind of thoughtful, close-looking helps us to see that things are not

always as they appear at first glance. The Hunt Center's Gallery Group program provides an opportunity

to look carefully and explore a work of art on a deeper level. .The Gallery Group gathers regularly to explore

interesting themes in the Toledo Museum of Art's collection. Led by a docent guide, Gallery Groups provide

an enriching way to experience the Museum with friends while exploring art.

      2nd Thursday in March, May, July, September and November.

             Bus leaves at 11:30am returns at1:30pm
